Jane and I spent the afternoon yesterday with our kids, their spouses and our eight grandkids. That doesn’t happen often since our oldest son Ray, his wife, Jenn and their four children live in sunny Southern California. All of us in the same place at the same time is heaven to me. Our family is not perfect by a long shot, but there is a lot of love, laughter and great conversation whenever we are all together. It is by far my favorite thing, to just be in the house with all of them.
The big life to me involves many things but nothing is more important than having a warm, loving, accepting, and encouraging home life. I realize I am very fortunate and I don’t take it for granted. I just can’t stop smiling after a truly BIG beautiful day.
